The Assam Government is preparing to hold the much-anticipated ‘Gunotsav 2022′ from May 11 to June 4 in order to reconstruct the education sector, which was severely impacted by COVID-19, thereby contributing greatly to kids’ overall development.
During the event, 42.50 lakh pupils will be examined in classrooms across 46,000 schools in order to discover learning gaps.
The Education Department and the Axom Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission are putting on a three-part event. Biswanath, Bongaigaon, Charaideo, Darrang, Dhemaji, Dibrugarh, Goalpara, Karimganj, Karbi-Anglong, and Nagaon would all be covered in the first phase.
Barpeta, Hailakandi, Hojai, Kamrup, Kokrajhar, Majuli, Morigaon, Sivasagar, South-Salmara-Mankachar, Tinsukia, and Udalguri would be covered in the second phase.
However, the third phase will cover Baksa, Cachar, Chirang, Dhubri, Dima-Hasao, Jorhat, Kamrup-M, Lakhimpur, Nalbari, Sonitpur, and West Karbi-Anglong.
During ‘Gunotsav 2022,’ all government, provincialized, tea garden management elementary and secondary schools will be covered.
