Tree plantation drives are organised in Remal Public School to raise awareness among students about the need of preserving our ecosystem and ecology.
18th June 2022, Saturday, Delhi- Tree plantation drives are held on a regular basis at Remal Public School to raise awareness among students about the need of preserving our ecosystem and ecology. During one such initiative, trees were planted on the school grounds. Students were shown how to properly plant a seedling. Students and teachers began planting seedlings of various medicinal plants such as Aloe vera, Tulsi, Sadabahar, Neem, Belpatra, Ajwain, and others one by one. The children and teachers actively engaged in the effort and assisted one another in planting the saplings.
The Managing Director, Mr. Rohit Bajaj, inspired the students by planting a seedling. In his inaugural address, he stated that tree planting campaigns are not just something that should be done; rather, they are a necessity, an urgent need of the hour. Plantation drives help to battle various environmental challenges, such as deforestation, soil erosion, desertification in semi-arid areas, and global warming, while also improving the beauty and harmony of the environment.
