The year 2020 was the year of pandemic and isolation for the people across the globe, in that year the adaptation of technology was at a large scale. The common Chalk and Talk method was replaced by online and self-paced learning through different platforms.

Project GRANTH is a research project conducted by Navneet Top tech, a digital education company. According to their survey and research, 321 Teachers and Principals of CBSE schools across the nation were interviewed. They said adopting online learning improves outcomes while 27 percent used digital content to teach during the pandemic, and 62 percent said that they wanted to continue using digital solutions post-pandemic as well.

When asked about the purpose of assessment, 68 percent of respondents said that it helps them identify conceptual understanding.
