EduDrone – WE CONNECT Principal coffee meet was organised in association with My Book Palace on – ‘Transformational workshop for school thought leaders’ on 15th December, 2022. The session was around the topic ‘Opportunities and Challenges in the Educational Sector. It was to empower the principals to deal with the day-to-day challenges and prepare them for future.
It was a session on transformational workshop along with knowing one stop solution for the schools; may it be books, tech partner, daily office supplies, state-of-the-art lab equipments and much more offered by My Book Palace.
It was a plush networking event for school thought leaders and principals.
The session began with a warm welcome by Mrs. Kajal Chhatija – Director, united International School and Founder & CEO of EduDrone – WE CONNECT. She briefed about the workshop that was organised and did set the tone for the day. She introduced the founder of My Book Palace, Mr. Sukhen Waghmare who has a one stop solution for the schools.
The Chief Guest for the session being Mrs. Harshal Deshmukh-Director, Vidya Group of Schools. She addressed the Principals on the different opportunities that could be grabbed on being in the education sector along with accepting change and transformation. She much appreciated the platform of EduDrone and named it as a best reforms in education.
The resource person for the session was Mr. Shirish P. Sebastian – International Educator and Wellness Coach. He was the rockstar of the workshop, grabbing everyone with his thoughts and ideologies. He infused to accept change from the mind and heart and then only the transformation can be seen. He connected our thoughts to the destiny, so well that concluded that thoughts are the inherent factor for our destiny. Our mind is just like a barren land which reaps what we sow. He shared a wonderful affirmation to be made by all ‘Every day in every way, I am getting better & better!’ which acts as the biggest motivator. He also spoke about the different leadership styles and focussed more on Principals’ being on the Hot seat always in any educational organisation.
The driving force behind the workshop was Mr. Sukhen Waghmare, an edupreneur. He endorses a one stop solution for the schools needs, when it comes for the students. We also grasped the importance of quality books to be incorporated. And when it comes to quality S Chand is one of the brand names to be thought of.
The session was all geared up with principals sharing their take aways and experience. The principals present for the workshop did take the session to a next level by sharing their experiences and thoughts. The learnings culminated as such: The commitment of faculty and academics is needed to foster transformation in learning and education for sustainability.
Transformative approaches can enhance the emphasis to sustainability in the curricula.
The transformation process offers an opportunity for rethinking educational practices.
