Schools in violence-hit North East Delhi district to remain closed tomorrow, all exams to be postponed
Two people, including a head constable of Delhi Police, were killed and many injured in the clashes in pockets of northeast Delhi that broke out on Monday afternoon over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
Delhi’s vice president serve Manish Sisodia said on Monday all legislature and tuition based school will be shut in territories influenced by the savagery, which broke out over the corrected citizenship law in the Northeast area of the Capital.
“There will be no home assessments in schools tomorrow and all administration and non-public schools will be shut in the brutality influenced Northeast locale of Delhi,” Manish Sisodia tweeted in Hindi.
“I have addressed Union HRD serve Ramesh Pokhriyal with respect to the board assessments that the tests ought to likewise be conceded in that region,” he included.
The Central Board of Secondary Education, which is holding the board tests, said there are no focuses in upper east Delhi.
