Young Mozart Competition
New Delhi, 5th November 2019 at The Mann School, Holambi
12th The Young Mozart, an inter-house instrumental concert was organized on 5th November 2019 at The Mann School. 60 students performed their skills on more than 20 instruments including synthesizer, xylophone, dhol, sitar, tabla, mandolin, guitar, and santoor, etc. The competition was comprised of four categories i.e. solo, jugalbandi, trio, and group. The students were excited to win recognition and applauses by the audience and the judges. The principal of The Mann School, Cdr. V.K Banga presented a memento to the Chief-Guest and praised the efforts of the teachers and the budding musicians.
Results
The Prestigious Guru M.L. Koser Runners up Trophy went to Vyas House and The Overall coveted ‘Young Mozart Concert Trophy-2019’ went in the hands of Dayanand House. The individual and team prizes were won by the following talented students

Jugalbandi: Rishab Papnoi & Himanshu Bhardwaj: 1st position from Buddha House
Trio: YumnamThengra, KipaKakum Daniel & Shivam Sharma: 1st Position from Dayanand House
Battle of Band: Ngurang Melo, Shezain Shaheen Ali Alai, Jeet Nabam Aryan Raj, Sengkang
& Group – 1st Position from Vyas House
Chorus: A Group of total 20 members led by Vikrant Raj, Ronit, Sobhita, Ujas, Shivam
Sharma and group from Dayanand House got 1st position.
