2nd June 2022, Thursday, Delhi-Class V students demonstrated their comprehension of the many stories supplied by the ‘CBSE Reading Mission’ programme at DAV Public School, Sector 14, Gurugram. Stories like ‘Unni’s Wish’ inspired students to become environmentalists as they imagined a future without electronic devices through posters and slogans. When they penned recipes for tasty foods in ‘Why Does a Purri Puff?’ and ‘Ammachi’s Amazing Machines,’ they became tiny chefs. They went into the world of virtual reality games in ‘Lazy Mamma,’ and imagined their own unique games.’Fire Fire’ allowed children the opportunity to dress up as firefighters and develop ways to prevent fires and cure burns. Students’ imaginations were given wings through posters as they made gorgeous pictures and penned expressive text. The children in Classes 3 and 4 excitedly engaged in the quizzes connected to the books supplied to them for e-reading and elegantly conveyed their opinions pictorially, which was a visual pleasure.
