FARIDABAD: The Farewell was organised by the students and teachers of DPSG, Faridabad on 4th February, 2023 in the school premises. The students of Classes 10th and 11th planned and charted the event in unison, to bid a lively and joyful farewell to their seniors.
The function began with the welcome speech by Class 11th followed by the lamp lighting ceremony. Students of the senior wing presented a musical medley in the form of a group dance which entertained the audience to the fullest. The performances were thoroughly enjoyed by the audience!
Senior faculty members of the school commended the seniors for smoothly taking on responsibilities and setting a remarkable example for their juniors. They urged them to look upon this event as a celebration of their years at their Alma Mater and gave them helpful advice on how to juggle between the expectation of their family and society with their own aspirations. They all ‘bid adieu’ to the school graduates by wishing them happiness and success in all future endeavors and inspired them to leave an indelible mark on society and make the school proud.
Games and music were played to pep up the environment. A parting speech was given by the students of Grade 12th wherein they thanked their teachers and the School Management for their stupendous support and love. Different Titles were awarded to different students. The title of Mr. and Ms. DPSG Faridabad was won by Puranjay Chanda and Kasvi Sharma after an eloquent ramp walk by the outgoing batch. A token of love was given to all the outgoing students followed by a luncheon. Summing up, the day was great, filled with nostalgia and fun and excitement.
