New Delhi : Virtual Dussehra Celebration at Ramjas School, RK Puram, Delhi.
Dussehra or Vijayadashami is an important Hindu festival which is celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervour by Hindus across the world on the tenth day of the Navratras.
On Dussehra, towering effigies of demon King Ravana, Kumbhakaran and Meghanad (symbolic of evil) are burnt down with fireworks thus reminding onlookers that no matter what, Good always wins over Evil.
To celebrate this day, students of classes IIIrd, IVth and Vth made very interesting Masks, Puppets and Drawings of their favourite characters from the epic Ramayana like Rama, Hanuman, Ravana.
Their excitement is evident in the vedios where children have explained the importance of this festival.
