Gurugram: The ECDF International Symposium, Workshop, and Awards 2024 held at Salwan Public School in Gurugram on 20th April, in association with Salwan Education Trust.
The ECDF International Symposium, Workshop, and Awards 2024 held at Salwan Public School in Gurugram on 20th April, in association with Salwan Education Trust (estd in 1942) turned out to be an immensely successful event.
The Chairperson of ECDF, Dr. Vasavvi Acharjya strives to bring to the table the latest, innovative, and best practices of ECCE, irrespective of any socio-economic barriers, through her NGO, by bringing many national and international early childhood experts under one umbrella. This is because she thinks quality education should reach all, for the greater good of all children in society.
This event had experts like Dr. Venita Kaul, Professor Emerita (education) Ambedkar University, Delhi, Mr. Tijay Gupta Founder and COO of Bachpan Preschools, Dr. Neeta Bali, Dr. Indu Khetarpal, Trustee of Salwan, Dr. Mayuri Dutt, Dr. Neeta Bali, Manish Naidu to name a few, who shared their insights and latest trends in the sector.
“The focus of this event was to bring experts of the Early Childhood domain under one roof and have quality deliberations that would help in bringing innovation in the domain of early childhood development and upgrade the knowledge base”, said Dr. Vasavvi Acharjya, Chairperson of ECDF.
The event was attended by Principals, School Owners, and Educators attending from Delhi, NCR, Pune, and Assam. A few Tender Petals franchisee partners were also present at the event.
The Symposium was followed by the ECDF Global Pinnacle Awards 24(5th Edition).
Many awards were given to schools and individuals, like Swami Vivekananda Vidyalaya, Sorbhog,
Tender Petals Panjabari Centre, Guwahati, who bagged the award of Best Franchised Preschool 2024, Tijay Gupta, Dr. Neeta Bali Soma Dey Das, and many more were awarded in the Star Changemaker in the early childhood sector. Dr. Indu Khetarpal was awarded the Best Innovator in the Education Sector.
